Pre/Post Care

PRE-CARE

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT

  • It is advisable to wear your normal makeup on the day of your appointment as it will give me a clear indication of your preferences and expectations.
  • Avoid aspirin and ibuprofen before your treatment, as this can increase the risk of bruising to the skin. Do not, however, discontinue any mediation without prior consent from your doctor.
  • Please do not drink alcohol the night before and avoid caffeine and smoking on the day of your treatment as this can increase bleeding.
  • Any injectables, skin treatments, facial peels, waxing, tinting should be carried out no less than 2 weeks before or after your treatment.
  • Avoid the sun/sunbeds for 2 weeks before and 4 weeks after your treatment.
  • If you have previous permanent makeup, you must make me aware of this before booking.

DURING YOUR TREATMENT

  • As Always the room is kept sterile to a very high standard.
  • Patch tests are required for all clients. This will be completed at your appointment before your treatment begins. Should you decline a patch test, your treatment will not go ahead. If you have any known allergies and would prefer a patch test sent out to you prior to your appointment, please notify me at the time of booking.
  • A consultation will be completed including the design and drawing of your tattoo. I will not start your treatment until you are happy with your shape.

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

  • Your skin may appear slightly red. This will disappear within a few hours.
  • Lips blush will cause some swelling, and can cause slight bruising to some clients. This is normal and swelling will go down within a few hours and bruising will disappear within a few days.
  • You will be given your aftercare kit and I will go through this with you.

AFTERCARE
